Oracle released over ten new videos with a demo of mobile applications delivered together with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. With these applications, you can access data stored in the system and record certain types of transactions from mobile devices. Oracle points out that these applications are not duplicates of existing system formats but are brand new solutions developed from scratch, employing such native functions of mobile devices as touchscreens, GPS, or camera. Furthermore, these applications have been developed in independent versions for tablets and smartphones.
These applications are available at Apple’s appstores (for iPhones and iPads) or Google stores (for Android devices).
Mobile applications include such solutions as:
- Working time registration for service orders,
- Overview of service orders for a team,
- Managing one’s own service orders,
- Managing customer requests,
- Settlement of employee expenses,
- Sales data review.
